MAY 30 – KAZNU’S ALUMNI DAY!

This academic year became special for Al-Farabi Kazakh National University as the Global Hub of the UN Academic Impact Initiative. It is marked by events of international scale in connection with the 1150th anniversary of Al-Farabi, the name of which the university worthily bears.

One of the significant events of the jubilee year is a general university holiday – the Day of graduates of KazNU. It is held annually on the last Saturday of May and falls on the 30th this year. Preserving and developing traditions of the university, as well as taking into account the difficult epidemiological situation in the country, it is planned to hold Alumni Day in a new format – online.

The remote format of the Alumni Day is being tested for the first time, and we are confident that the team of many thousands of teachers, students and graduates at such a difficult time, as in previous years, will once again show their unity around the values of independent Kazakhstan and the importance of education, science, sports and culture.

Materials and videos of congratulations of graduates, online meetings of anniversary editions with their chairs and faculties will be placed for wide access in social networks.
