The MDP / Global Classroom program on Sustainable Development
invites all students of Al-Farabi KazNU to the open lecture and seminar on the topic:
“Globalization, Global Citizenship and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)”
The participants of this lecture and seminar will discuss the research and educational activities of al-Farabi KazNU strengthening the global citizenship education. Like all universities in the world, our University is responsible for promoting the ideas of global citizenship, globalization and SDGs preparing students to be responsible members of the global community, using their skills and education to promote the peace and better collaboration in the world (SDG16 and SDG17).
The international community has agreed that by 2030 all students will have the knowledge and skills needed to achieve sustainable development, including global citizenship education. The students and faculty will discuss most recent debates about globalization and SDGs.

Date: November 20, 2018 from 17.00 to 20.00.
