Joint Festival

Ban Ki-moon Institute for Sustainable Development at al-Farabi KazNU co-organized a Virtual Social Innovation Festival  jointly with NewHopeU youth platform from June 8 to 14, 2020.

This  European  Social  Innovation Festival  is  designed  to  inspire,  connect  and  create projects  to tackle the impact  of COVID- 19 in  partnership  with  Peace First,  We  Make  Change, Sharing Perspectives Foundation, Erasmus + Virtual Exchange as well other partners.

The Virtual Social Innovation Festival is organized in a format of 8 online sessions with over 300 participants all over the world for 7 days. Participants address the COVID- 19 Issues and Consequences on mental health, hunger, work perspectives, education access, domestic violence, disinformation,  elderly  situation  due  to  isolation as well as social distance  entertainment.

This event hosts 15 keynote speakers in its network sessions from global thought leaders to inspirational business trainers.
