World University Consortium

The Consortium of Global Universities brings together leading universities and international organizations in the field of science and education. Its mission is to enhance the role of universities in addressing key global challenges, provide comprehensive support for accessible and quality education, and improve educational systems. Special emphasis is placed on enhancing the potential of students and applying their theoretical knowledge in practice.

As a rule, only one university represents a country in the consortium. Al-Farabi Kazakh National University (KazNU) was the first and only university in Central Asia to join such a global international educational community in 2014. By becoming a member of WUC, KazNU is now a partner not only with renowned universities worldwide but also with authoritative organizations such as the World Academy of Arts and Sciences, the International Green Cross, the International Association of University Presidents, the Institute of Cultural Diplomacy, the Library of Alexandria, and others.
