Ban Ki-moon Institute for Sustainable Development

Ban Ki-moon Institute for Sustainable Development (BKMISD) at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University opened on May 4th, 2018. The institute focuses on conducting interdisciplinary research and promoting educational programs designed to support international and national strategies for environmental safety and sustainable growth.

Biography Studied International Economic Relations at Al-Farabi KazNU (1997–2001), completed Master's (2003) and PhD (2014), all with honors. Also holds MBA from EdNET Academy (USAID). Currently Chief Expert at the Institute of Sustainable Development and Associate Professor at Al-Farabi KazNU.
