GREEN BRIDGE THROUGH GENERATIONS

The teachers of the UNESCO Chair on Sustainable Development of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University took an active part in the International Scientific and Practical Conference: «Social Partnership for Environmental Protection and Green Growth», which was held in the online format. The Conference was also attended by representatives of the Ministries of Ecology of Geology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Education, and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the UNESCO Cluster Office for Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan, scientists and students of Russian and Central Asian Universities (Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, etc.), representatives of public organizations and the religious community, etc. The Conference was held in the following areas: animal and plant life, habitat conservation, climate change, the role of the clergy in environmental conservation, youth initiatives in the field of ecology, and green growth. The Conference was attended by Shokan Ualikhanov Kokshetau University, Public Environmental Admission Office of the Deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation A.E. Karpov, Tyumen Industrial University, State National Natural Park «Burabai», Presidential Administration of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Public Association «Ecological Center «Eco-Kokshe».
